The UKCPO National Meeting is back ahead of World Obesity Day 2027.

World Obesity Day is an annual global awareness day held on 4 March. It brings attention to obesity as a complex, chronic disease and highlights the need for fair, respectful, and evidence-based approaches to prevention, treatment, and care.

UKCPO will be hosting a full-day, in-person event bringing members together to learn more about obesity as a disease, the impact of stigma, and available treatments, with sessions shaped by lived experience. The day will include the opportunity to visit information booths offering advice, resources, and occasional samples, before closing with an informal evening reception to connect with other members.
